The evil eye is a term used to describe the process of being affected by the Raja-Tama vibrations of another person. The other person can affect us with the evil eye intentionally or unintentionally. The evil eye dates back about 5,000 years.
The significance of the evil eye varies widely among different cultures, but it is especially prominent in the Balkans, Latin America, the Mediterranean and West Asia. The idea appears multiple times in Jewish rabbinic literature.
Popular amulets and talismans used to ward off the evil eye include the hamsa, while Italy (especially Southern Italy) employs a variety of other unique charms and gestures to defend against the evil eye, including the cornicello, the cimaruta, and the sign of the horns.

In today’s competitive and materialistic world, some people
have personality defects and suffer from jealousy, hatred, and hunger for
attention. The Raja-Tama vibrations that these defects generate have a
spiritual effect of affliction upon us. That is, we can be victims of the evil
eye due to envy, jealousy, magic, negative energies or a very strong stare towards us (with good, bad or no intention whatsoever).
How to prevent the evil eye?
In my country, it is very common to put a red ribbon on babies to prevent them from suffering from the evil eye. In this example, the evil eye arises from strong stares with good intentions (based on admiration for the babies), which unfortunately ends up hurting them. It is also common for adults to wear red ribbons as bracelets on their arms or ankles to prevent the evil eye.
What are the symptoms?
The evil eye can affect anyone or anything. This includes an individual, an
animal, plants, as well as inanimate objects. The act of ojear, which could be translated as to give someone the evil eye, sometimes is an involuntary act. Someone may ojear babies, animals and inanimate objects just by staring at and admiring them. This may produce illness and discomfort in babies or animals and failures in inanimate objects like cars or houses.
The main symptom of the evil eye is a severe headache, it can also go
accompanied by ear pain, nausea, yawning and general physical decay.
If you think you may have the evil eye, you should ask an alternative health practitioner to heal you. Some may use eggs and prayers, and some may only use prayers.
